Oliver Tree<\/strong>\u2019s mom, Christine Begin Nickell<\/strong>, broke her silence following her son\u2019s tragic death at age 32.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur dear son Oliver, you made this world a better place,\u201d Nickell wrote via Facebook<\/a> on Thursday, June 18. \u201cWe are so proud of you. RIP \u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc94\u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nickell also included a throwback photo of Tree holding a dog.<\/p>\n

News broke on Sunday, June 14, that Tree (full name Oliver Tree Nickell) unexpectedly died<\/a> after two helicopters collided in Rio de Janeiro. celebrity.land Brazil reported that there were six fatalities and Tree\u2019s name was on the list of passengers given to aviation authorities. Local authorities have yet to identify the bodies.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAmerican singer Oliver Tree was reported dead following a plane crash in June 2026. He was 32. Two helicopters crashed into each other in Brazil, resulting in six fatalities. \u201cWe express our deep sorrow for the six victims resulting from the accident involving two aircraft in the Southwest Zone of Rio de Janeiro,\u201d the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro said in a post via X at the time. \u201cIn this moment of pain, I express my solidarity to the family members and friends of the victims of the tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tree was traveling in Brazil amid his world tour. The singer had a concert in S\u00e3o Paulo on June 6. He was scheduled to take the stage next on July 1 in Lisbon. His tour was set to continue through October 25, when he was expected to take the stage in Beijing.<\/p>\n

After news broke of Tree\u2019s death, a clip of the musician talking about his will resurfaced online. During an April appearance on \u201cThe Zach Sang Show\u201d podcast, Tree declared that he was not leaving any of his wealth<\/a> to his family when he passed away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe that any of the wealth or the things that get made from it [a career] is mine. So when I die \u2014 I\u2019ve set it up \u2014 my will is set up that when I pass, my family, no one\u2019s going to get a penny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tree also said he had no plans to leave money behind if he had a family of his own. (The \u201cLife Goes On\u201d singer was not married at the time of his death but was in a relationship with girlfriend Fiona Chernavskaya<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I have a wife or kids or anything, [they\u2019re] not getting a f***ing penny,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019ll get my kids through college. That\u2019s the agreement. But there\u2019s not going to be a silver spoon. They\u2019re taken care of because my dad worked on some stuff in the 2000s. The idea is, when I die, all the money is going to go back to artists.\u201d<\/p>\n
