The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/i><\/a><\/span> alum Jo De La Rosa<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is keeping it real as she continues to document her struggle with infertility.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like on the emotional side, a little bit of my womanhood was taken away,\u201d Jo, 45, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> while attending Galyna Saltkovska<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u2019s season 3 premiere party for The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/i><\/span><\/a> on Monday, June 15. \u201cYou feel like there\u2019s something wrong with you, and I don\u2019t think that I was ready for that. I don\u2019t think I was ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Bravo reality star revealed via social media<\/span><\/a> that she \u201ccannot get pregnant\u201d and is infertile. Despite hearing difficult news from a doctor, Jo and her husband, Taran Gray, remain hopeful that they can start a family and become parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I\u2019m going through the seven stages of grief where you feel all the things. You feel sad, you feel angry, you just feel everything,\u201d Jo shared from The Abbey in West Hollywood, California. \u201cMotherhood looks all different kinds of ways, and it comes in all different kinds of forms.\u201d<\/p>\n

For several years, Jo has been open with her social media followers about trying to get pregnant.<\/p>\n

She recalls some commenters questioning why she didn\u2019t immediately do IVF or a surrogate. According to the Bravo star, it\u2019s easier said than done.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Do you want to send me a check for $40,000 a round?\u2019 Also, I\u2019m 45 and about to be 46 in September,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019m very realistic knowing it\u2019s gonna take more than one round of IVF. I know some friends who are in four to five rounds already, so you\u2019re looking at a six-figure situation. Not everybody has that disposably. I know we definitely don\u2019t have the six figures sitting in the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this stage in her journey, Jo doesn\u2019t want to hear from strangers who think she should just \u201crelax.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, she appreciates her close friends, including Galyna and Real Housewives of Orange County<\/i> alum Alexis Bellino<\/strong>, for being supportive behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

After in vitro fertilization didn\u2019t work on the first try, Teigen wondered if she had done something wrong. \u201cYou just look for anything to blame, especially yourself,\u201d Teigen explained to New York Magazine\u2019s The Cut in April [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIf you are someone who is struggling with infertility, do not lose hope. God has you in the palm of His hand and He will find a way,\u201d Jo told Us<\/i> while trying to hold back tears. \u201cYour baby will find you, and I truly believe that\u2019s going to be our story as well. Even if it\u2019s not right now, our baby will find us as well so don\u2019t lose hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
