Bunnie Xo<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is ready to shine a light on what went wrong in her nearly 10-year marriage to Jelly Roll<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy family was always so important to me, and when I said those vows with him, I really meant them,\u201d Bunnie, 46, shared on the Thursday, June 18, episode of the \u201cDumb Blonde<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cJ was my third marriage, and obviously, I\u2019m not f***ing good at marriage. F***ing three strikes you\u2019re out, bitch. Listen, I can admit when I\u2019m not good at something, and marriage just probably isn\u2019t it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jelly Roll, 41, quietly submitted a divorce petition<\/span><\/a> to a Tennessee court on May 18. News of the split, however, didn\u2019t go public until Monday, June 15.<\/p>\n

While breaking her silence<\/span><\/a> on the split, Bunnie explained what led to the rapper\u2019s decision to officially end the marriage.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBunnie Xo clapped back at rumors that her marriage was troubled less than a year before her estranged husband Jelly Roll filed for divorce. \u201cSomeone said the other day, \u2018They used to always be together, and now you never see them together,\u2019\u201d Bunnie, 46, said in an August 2025 episode of her \u201cDumb Blonde\u201d podcast. \u201cOn Mother\u2019s Day<\/span><\/a>, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don\u2019t think the details are necessary. I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, \u2018Well, then file the f***ing divorce papers,\u2019\u201d she claimed. \u201cAnd in our relationship, that is the one cardinal thing that you don\u2019t say. Even though my husband has said it numerous times \u2018cause he\u2019s the runner.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair didn\u2019t talk for a week. Ultimately, the \u201cNeed a Favor\u201d singer decided it was time to take legal steps to end his marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring that, he was so mad and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers. Was I blindsided? And was this divorce mutual? No, it was not mutual,\u201d she claimed. \u201cEven though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bunnie continued, \u201cHe\u2019s my best friend. I don\u2019t care how f***ed up our relationship was, which it wasn\u2019t that f***ed up. I don\u2019t care how much we didn\u2019t communicate or how things shook out. I was riding with this motherf***er till the wheels fell off. I didn\u2019t care. I felt like we deserved a chance to go to therapy and figure s*** out. He didn\u2019t feel that way and I respect it. It took me a month and a half now to respect that. But I\u2019m so happy. So, so, so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his New York concert on Thursday, Jelly Roll broke his silence on the split<\/span><\/a>. The musician told the audience that he will always be \u201cbest friends\u201d with Bunnie and said \u201cevery word\u201d of her latest podcast is true.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody cheated on nobody,\u201d he added. \u201cThat will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in her podcast, Bunnie shared some insight into her communication skills with Jelly Roll. She admitted the pair were never good at having disagreements.<\/p>\n
