Jake Lacy recalls a time on Girls<\/em> when he thought costar Adam Driver might “hit” him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Lacy played Fran Parker, who dated Lena Dunham’s Hannah Horvath on the award-winning HBO dramedy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Dunham alleged Driver exhibited violent behavior on the set of Girls <\/em>in her recent memoir, Fansick<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Jake Lacy<\/a> says his time on Girls<\/em><\/a> was a “dream job” come true, even if it meant costar Adam Driver<\/a> may have nearly hit him.<\/p>\n While appearing on The Daily Beast\u2019s Obsessed<\/em> podcast<\/a>, the White Lotus <\/em>star said he “loved” being on the hit HBO series, adding that it’s “the only time” he’s been on a set “where the other person \u2014 it was not the social contract of acting in which you’re like, I’ll agree to do this and then you’ll agree to do that.”<\/p>\n Lacy elaborated by recounting a scene in which his character Fran Parker, who dates Hannah Horvath (played by Lena Dunham<\/a>) in the fourth and fifth seasons of the series, attends an art show with Hannah to make her ex Adam Sackler (Driver) jealous.<\/p>\n “We shot that scene. I think maybe we blocked it, but not really rehearsed it fully and [I] was just standing next to Adam, and [I] was like, ‘Oh, this guy might hit me in this scene,'” Lacy explained.<\/p>\n “And that was so exhilarating,” Lacy added of the acting experience feeling more organic than staged.<\/p>\n
