The track serves as the latest single from the record.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by the band\u2019s longtime collaborator <strong>Sarah Holick<\/strong>, the performance video was filmed at <strong>The Webster Underground<\/strong> in Hartford, Connecticut, with fans invited to attend the shoot and later rewarded with an intimate live performance.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the new track, vocalist <strong>Matthew McDougal<\/strong> shares, <em>\u201cthe premise of the song is laid out very plainly and intentionally. It exists as an extension of the <strong>Colin Parkes<\/strong> quote: \u2018The pain of grief is just as much a part of life as the joy of love; it is, perhaps, the price we pay for love, the cost of commitment\u2019. With the sudden and violent loss of a number of people close to the band this past year it became impossible to not write about the bereavement and the subsequent emotions.
