Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson<\/a> <\/b>never thought he\u2019d meet a woman like Maggie Sajak <\/b><\/a>\u2014 and now the athlete believes she\u2019s The One.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast year, I had kind of given up on finding a girl I wanted to be with,\u201d Olson, 28, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Thursday, June 18. \u201cI remember thinking to myself that if I\u2019m gonna date someone I want them to have the same morals I have and to have a kind soul. To like me for me and not for what I post on social media. To love their family and enjoy spending time with them. To not take life so seriously and not care what other people think.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Olson, \u201csomehow\u201d he found all of that \u2014 \u201cand more\u201d \u2014 in Sajak, 31.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never met someone I thought I could spend every day with until I met her, and a major reason why is because we can be our true selves around each other,\u201d he gushed on Thursday. \u201cIf you think you haven\u2019t found The One<\/a> yet and that it\u2019s \u2018too late,\u2019 trust me it\u2019s not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just a couple of weeks after hard-launching his relationship with Maggie Sajak, daughter of famed gameshow host Pat Sajak, the Savannah Bananas baseball player was able to have his girlfriend attend one [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Olson continued, \u201cSometimes life only gives you what you truly want when you\u2019ve been patient enough. So the moral of the story? Don\u2019t rush it, and never settle. And yeah \u2026 loving Disney was an added bonus for us both\ud83e\udd29<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olson and Maggie, the daughter of Wheel of Fortune <\/i>icon Pat Sajak<\/b>, revealed in April<\/span><\/a> that they were dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a very weird person, I\u2019m a very out there person. I\u2019m not going to hold back who I am as a person, and people seem to enjoy that company,\u201d Olson exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i><\/span><\/a>last month, addressing his whirlwind romance. \u201cI\u2019m happy that I\u2019m able to be myself truly in every aspect now. \u2026 It\u2019s really cool because we\u2019re obviously living very different lives right now on the opposite side of the country, but we\u2019re able to come together and just have an awesome relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olson further revealed that both he and Maggie were committed to making their relationship work despite long distances.<\/p>\n
