<\/story-highlights> The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival prides itself on offering the ambiance of a small-town celebration\u00a0with the amenities of a world-class musical and cultural event.<\/p>\n The fest began in 1999 as a half-day event and now spans three days of more than 30 local, regional and national artists and bands playing on three stages in Gahanna\u2019s Creekside District<\/a>.<\/p>\n It’s no secret that crowds<\/a> turn out for the annual festival\u2019s multigenre music marathon on the banks of Creekside Park, along with food, drinks and family-friendly activities.<\/p>\n Presented by the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival will be held from 5-11 p.m. June 19; 1-11 p.m. June 20; and noon to 5 p.m. June 21.<\/p>\n Several local acts will headline the Jazz Stage, along with widely known artists like Tito Puente Jr., who\u2019ll perform on June 19.<\/p>\n Columbus-based Urban Jazz Coalition will team up with keyboardist and composer Brian Simpson on June 20 on the Jazz Stage. Simpson has worked with artists including Janet Jackson, Dave Koz, Anita Baker and late jazz great George Duke.<\/p>\n The festival will welcome back guitarist and vocalist Selwyn Birchwood on June 19. The international festival favorite, who came to Creekside in 2022, will be one of numerous musicians taking the Blues Stage throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n The Creekside Stage will feature regional artists with styles ranging from rock to big-band swing to electric violin R&B.<\/p>\n The second annual Gahanna Juneteenth<\/a> celebration will also take place on the Creekside Stage on June 19. However, tickets are no longer available.<\/p>\n In addition to the multitude of music, local artists will be back at the festival for the fifth year to paint murals live along Creekside Plaza.<\/p>\n On the lower level of Creekside Plaza by the lagoon, attendees of all ages can dance to their own beats at the silent discos<\/a> taking place from 6-9 p.m. June 19-20.<\/p>\n Single-day passes for the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival cost $15 in advance for adults and $10 for youths 11-17. Weekend passes are $30 in advance for adults and $15 for youths.<\/p>\n At the gate, single-day passes will cost $20 for adults and $15 for youths, and weekend passes will be $35 for adults and $25 for youths.<\/p>\n Veterans and children 10 and younger who attend with a paid adult will be admitted for free.<\/p>\n Parking will be available at 700 Morrison Road, where shuttles will continuously pick up and drop off guests.<\/p>\n Visit creeksidebluesandjazz.com<\/a> for advance passes and more information.<\/p>\n\n
