And then there is what happened to Taylor Paige Long (@taylorpaigelong), who brought her on-and-off man to an exclusive Art Basel event in Miami<\/a> where Serena Williams and Simone Biles were speaking. Then he used AI to remove her from a photo of the two of them she took. If that wasn\u2019t bad enough, he sent it to her like it was totally normal.<\/p>\n

The video, which has no narration (just text overlays, screenshots, and \u201cLucifer\u2019s Waltz\u201d playing), has racked up over 800,000 views.<\/p>\n

Some commenters agree the song is the perfect soundtrack for a 42-year-old man AI-erasing his date from a photo.<\/p>\n

An ungrateful plus one at Art Basel<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The event in question was an intimate conversation<\/a> hosted by Vanity Fair, The Female Quotient, and Audemars Piguet during the 2024 Art Basel weekend in Miami, Florida. Serena Williams and Simone Biles sat on stage together for what attendees described as an inspiring discussion about empowerment, mental health, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

It was, by all accounts, a room full of women being reminded of what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n

Long brought her situationship as her plus one. In a text overlay, she notes that they\u2019ve been on again, off again.<\/p>\n

To his credit, he seemed to be having a good time. He even posed for a photo of the two of them together at the event. Later he asked if she\u2019d gotten any photos of him by himself. Long admitted that she hadn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Apparently, he found a workaround.<\/p>\n

An AI edit with a tell<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Long\u2019s date used AI to completely erase her from the pic. Then he sent her a video that included the photo with her digitally deleted like this was a totally reasonable thing to do.<\/p>\n

Long didn\u2019t think so. She responded, \u201cDamn you cutting me out.\u201d<\/p>\n

He replied, \u201cLol naw just focusing on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Long did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n

Is it ever okay to remove your date from pics with AI?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The comment section combusted. The video resonated with many who\u2019ve given a situationship the benefit of the doubt one too many times.<\/p>\n

Viewers didn\u2019t mince words. \u201cThe audacity is peak,\u201d wrote kiana.the.publici.<\/p>\n

Chanouenoue suggested giving him a taste of his own medicine. \u201cI hope you focus on you too,\u201d they wrote. Missprimadonnaa\u2019s advice was more direct, writing, \u201cI hope you blocked him after that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dageecheegamer caught a telling detail. \u201cBaby I can still see the reflection in the glass lmao,\u201d they said. Mswitchyttv offered a pointed two-word theory: \u201cHe\u2019s married.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jacktinsleitis made a petty suggestion. \u201cI hope you commented \u2018this is not +1 energy,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Jasmintaylor_ cut straight to the point. \u201cI hope you FULLY understood that last text exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor replied, \u201cThe message was received LOUD and MF CLEAR!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
