Corey Feldman<\/a> was reportedly rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency on a flight from Chicago to LAX this week.<\/p>\n On Monday afternoon (June 15), the 54-year-old actor fell severely ill on a return trip from a weekend of touring, according to TMZ<\/em><\/a>. A doctor who happened to be traveling on the same plane examined him and raised the possibility that he could be dealing with pancreatitis or gallstones, though no official diagnosis had been confirmed at the time of reporting.<\/p>\n Sources told TMZ<\/em> that paramedics were staged at the gate when the aircraft landed, and Feldman was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.<\/p>\n At press time, the actor, who is best known for his roles in The Goonies<\/em>, Stand By Me<\/em>, and Gremlins<\/em>, was still undergoing tests at the hospital.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Feldman had just wrapped a Midwest leg of Stand By Me Live<\/em><\/a>, a touring event in which he, Jerry O’Connell, and Wil Wheaton celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1986 film by sharing memories and rewatching it with fans.<\/p>\n The trio performed in Indianapolis on Saturday (June 13) and Chicago on Sunday (June 14). In-between stops, Feldman made a side trip to Gary, Indiana, the hometown of his late friend Michael Jackson \u2014 which he shared content from on social media.<\/p>\n In March, Corey Feldman shared that he may have missed out on a career-changing movie role<\/a> \u2013 and he’s putting the blame on Johnny Depp<\/a>.<\/p>\n The actor spoke about the incident on a recent episode of The Magnificent Others With Billy Corgan<\/em><\/a> podcast, revealing he had been cast in the 1993 drama What\u2019s Eating Gilbert Grape<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Feldman said he had secured the role of Arnold “Arnie” Grape, the younger brother of the film\u2019s title character portrayed by Depp. “I never saw the film because I\u2019m still bitter,” Feldman admitted. “Bitter leaf in that one. But yes, I was originally cast for that role.”<\/p>\n The Goonies<\/em> actor said he was one of the first actors to be hired for the film but was pushed out shortly after Depp joined the cast.<\/p>\n “Johnny Depp \u2026 was cast after I was and apparently whispered into the producers\u2019 ear that he wasn\u2019t fond of me,” Feldman recalled. “He said I was a junkie and that he didn\u2019t work with junkies.
