One day after Keith Urban<\/strong><\/a> sent ex-wife Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> a public birthday message, the actress shared a Father\u2019s Day tribute to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Father\u2019s Day to all the fathers,\u201d Kidman, 59, wrote via Instagram Stories<\/a> on Sunday, June 21, sharing a black-and-white throwback photo of Urban, 58, carrying the pair\u2019s daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, on his back.<\/p>\n

The photo sat alongside a black-and-white snap of a young Kidman cuddling up to her late father, Antony Kidman<\/strong>, who died in 2014 at the age of 75.<\/p>\n

Urban, whose divorce from Kidman was finalized<\/a> in January, had just publicly wished<\/a> his ex a happy 59th birthday, sharing a Saturday, June 20, Instagram Story that read, \u201cHappy birthday, Nicole Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!\u201d No photo was included in the singer\u2019s Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed earlier this year that the former couple, who were married for 19 years, finalized their divorce in a Nashville court on January 6. Us<\/em> had confirmed on September 29, 2025 that Urban and Kidman had separated.<\/p>\n

Kidman filed for divorce one day later, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d within her petition while requesting that she maintain \u201cprimary residential parent\u201d of Sunday and Faith. (Kidman also shares two adult children, Connor and Bella, with ex-husband Tom Cruise<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

The divorce finalization noted that neither party would pay one another alimony or spousal support, and confirmed that Kidman will serve as the primary parent of their daughters. Additionally, no monthly child support is paid.<\/p>\n

Kidman addressed her split from Urban during an October 2025 interview with Interview<\/em> magazine, telling the outlet at the time that she was \u201changing in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a March interview, the Scarpetta<\/em> star expanded on her mindset following the split, telling Variety<\/em> that she was putting her energy into moving on. \u201cI\u2019m always going to be moving toward what\u2019s good. What I\u2019m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,\u201d Kidman said at the time. \u201cThat\u2019s that. Everything else I don\u2019t discuss out of respect. I\u2019m staying in a place of, \u2018We are a family,\u2019 and that\u2019s what we\u2019ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.\u201d<\/p>\n
