{"id":2470127,"date":"2026-06-22T06:01:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T06:01:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2470127"},"modified":"2026-06-22T06:01:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T06:01:25","slug":"sa-superstar-tyla-drops-brand-new-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/sa-superstar-tyla-drops-brand-new-music\/","title":{"rendered":"SA superstar Tyla drops brand-new music"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p data-block-key=\"aeeu4\">South Africa\u2019s biggest export to the global entertainment industry, Tyla, has taken the world by storm, and she is keeping the momentum going.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"25a29\">On Thursday, 18 June, the \u2018Water\u2019 hitmaker treated fans to a brand-new single and accompanying music video.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"3ddkj\">\u2018This Is Love\u2019 has already received a great deal of praise from fans, while the music video has garnered more than 1,5 million views on YouTube.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tyla - IS IT LOVE (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YdrW1SJwiMs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p data-block-key=\"aeeu4\">Tyla\u2019s latest single is just one part of what has been a highly successful 2026 so far.<\/p>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"cs6bg\"><b>Everything Tyla has done in 2026 thus far<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-block-key=\"b0e13\">The brand-new single comes fresh off her performance of the South African national anthem at the FIFA World Cup opening match in Mexico, alongside the Mzansi Youth Choir.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"ev161\">She also performed alongside Future at a World Cup ceremony in the United States on Friday.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"4oh6j\">The two artists collaborated on a FIFA World Cup song titled \u2018GAME TIME\u2019, which they released in May.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"6rh1\">Colombian singer Shakira also announced that Tyla would be joining her for the American leg of her \u2018Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran\u2019 tour.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"3nnfi\">The 24-year-old will perform at one of the shows.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"6ur8m\">The Grammy-winning singer has also stepped into the world of film. Tyla is set to make a cameo appearance in Pixar\u2019s upcoming film, Toy Story 5.<\/p>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"aeeu4\"><b>New album<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-block-key=\"b6uau\">Tyla has been building anticipation for her upcoming album, \u2018A*POP\u2019, which is scheduled for release on 24 July.
