Influencer Sue Rose<\/strong> has given birth to her fifth child, a baby girl, with husband Josh Vida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rose told People<\/em><\/a> on Saturday, June 20, that she went into induced labor on Tuesday, June 16, welcoming daughter Melody Gisela Rose.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter four boys, we are having a girl, and she has made sure to stand out,\u201d the influencer told the outlet. \u201cI always went into labor on my own, but I had developed gestational hypertension and my doctors surprised me with an induction date.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>, gestational hypertension is when a pregnant person experiences high blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were nervous, since I had never been induced, but the process and delivery couldn\u2019t have been better and welcoming our little girl into this world has felt like a dream,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Melody, who was originally due in July, weighed 6 pounds and 4 ounces at birth. In an Instagram Story<\/a> on Sunday, June 20, Rose revealed that the little one\u2019s middle name \u2014 Gisela \u2014 is inspired by her grandmother. \u201cShe passed away and I\u2019ve always wanted to honor her in that way because she was such a big part of my life!\u201d Rose wrote.<\/p>\n

Rose and Vida are already parents to four boys: Leander, Mason, Jayden and Charlie.<\/p>\n

Rose announced her pregnancy with baby no. 5 back in December, telling People<\/em><\/a>, \u201cWe have four beautiful boys and last year, we just happened to put a baby onesie underneath the tree. This Christmas, our wish is coming true.\u201d<\/p>\n
