The veteran bluegrass group returns to the Oysterville Church on Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m. for the second Music Vespers Service of the 2026 season, continuing a tradition that started in 1978.<\/p>\n<p>The Music Vespers Series, ongoing since 1978, is sponsored by the Oysterville Restoration Foundation and is open to the public free of charge each summer Sunday afternoon. Vespers started last week with The Oyster Crackers.<\/p>\n<p>Music scheduled for the following summer Sundays will feature:<\/p>\n<p>   July 5 \u2013 Double J and The Boy (Judy Eron, Janet Clark, Charlie Watkins)<\/p>\n<p>   July 12 \u2013 Peninsula Guitar Trio (Ken Emo, George Coleman, Jason Sheaux)<\/p>\n<p>   July 19 \u2013 Wild Ferns (Aileen and Leif Halvorson)<\/p>\n<p>   July 26 \u2013 Greasy Joan (Loralyn Staples)<\/p>\n<p>   Aug. 2 \u2013 Jon Lee<\/p>\n<p>   Aug. 9 \u2013 Soulful Variations (Jay Sheaux and LeAnna Moos)<\/p>\n<p>   Aug. 16 \u2013 Joel Underwood<\/p>\n<p>   Aug. 23 \u2013 Millionth Street (Bob and Janet Cantonwine)<\/p>\n<p>   Aug. 30 \u2013 Jeanne Walker<\/p>\n<p>   Sept. 6 \u2013 Cate and Starla<\/p>\n<p>In addition to 45 minutes of non-stop music, each Vespers Service includes a five-minute \u201cOysterville Moment\u201d \u2013 a story or memory about the historic church or village provided on alternate weeks by local residents Tucker Wachsmuth or Sydney Stevens.
