Rita Ora<\/a> has revealed she\u2019s buzzing about the new material she\u2019s been working on and says she\u2019s finally learning to ease the “pressure” she puts on herself.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The 35\u2011year\u2011old singer – who performed at the Isle of Wight Festival over the weekend – has been hard at work on the follow\u2011up to 2023\u2019s You and I, and says she allowed herself to relax into the process and enjoy making the record without being so tough on herself.<\/p>\n
She told The Sun newspaper\u2019s Bizarre column: \u201cI can\u2019t tell you how excited I am for this new stuff. I think maybe I\u2019ve still got it? Can I be honest, though, it\u2019s the coolest thing to be doing this job. Sometimes you put so much pressure on yourself but it feels nice to just go with it. We are good enough, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Anywhere singer also shared one long\u2011held ambition she still wants to tick off – recording a live album at London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI love the Royal Albert Hall.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI still want to do a live album there one day. It\u2019s iconic.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cRaye did one, Adele did one. It\u2019s just what you want to do as a musician when you grow up and are just like, \u2018I have to do the Royal Albert Hall.'”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Rita recently revealed she has been learning to play the harmonica – and Ronnie Wood has been giving her tips.<\/p>\n
\nThe pop star has been getting pointers from the Rolling Stone, and she’s keen to learn how to play the guitar next.<\/p>\n
\nShe told The Sun newspaper: “I\u2019m learning the harmonica and then I want to learn the guitar.<\/p>\n
\n“I just saw Ronnie Wood and he is incredible at the harmonica.<\/p>\n
\n“He was teaching me certain things.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite getting her big break 14 years ago when she featured on DJ Fresh’s hit song Hot Right Now, Rita still has singing lessons.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I still have singing and acting lessons.<\/p>\n
\n“I never stop learning.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Fifty Shades of Grey actress insisted she is “very strict” when it comes to work, and she restricts her social outings when she has upcoming performances – but Rita “loves working”.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “I just want to keep learning and surprising people.<\/p>\n
\n“I am very strict when it comes to my work. When I\u2019m singing, I don\u2019t go out. I don\u2019t do any of that stuff.<\/p>\n
\n“I love working.”<\/p>\n
