Susan Boyle\u00a0has revealed she receives fan mail from\u00a0\u201csome men who like to think I fancy them\u201d, in an interview on\u00a0STV Radio.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The multi-million-selling singer joined presenters Laura Boyd and Emma Cameron on their What\u2019s On Scotland radio show, where she admitted that the flirty fan mail doesn\u2019t impress her, saying:\u00a0\u201cAt my age, I don\u2019t have the strength.\u201d<\/p>\n

Susan also opened up about the stroke she suffered in 2022 and how support from the public has helped her recovery.<\/p>\n

She said:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m very humbled\u00a0by the public. They\u2019ve been very friendly, very accepting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t too well \u2013 I had a stroke for a wee while there \u2013 but I\u2019ve got over most of it. Some people think I sound as if I\u2019m drunk, but I\u2019m not.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was\u00a0[seriously ill]\u00a0but I\u2019m back on it now. They couldn\u2019t shut me up for long enough!<\/p>\n

Fresh from appearing in popular ad campaigns for Cornetto and Irn Bru this summer, Susan revealed she\u2019s been working with\u00a0Diane Warren\u00a0\u2013 the Grammy-winning songwriter behind\u00a0Cher\u2019s \u2018If I Could Turn Back Time\u2019 and\u00a0Aerosmith\u2019s \u2018I Don\u2019t Want to Miss a Thing\u2019 \u2013 on new music.<\/p>\n

Susan\u2019s last album was released in 2016.<\/p>\n

She said:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve been in the recording studio doing a couple of things for Diane Warren. She\u2019s a composer, and I hope to go over to LA sometime to see her. It\u2019s in the pipeline, but I\u2019ll take my time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very nice that I can take my time because I\u2019m a perfectionist \u2013 I like to get things right.\u201d<\/p>\n
