Taylor Swift<\/a> is ready to put the past behind her as he prepares to say \u201cI do\u201d to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail<\/a><\/em>, the \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You\u201d singer has reportedly extended an \u201colive branch\u201d to her former best friend, Blake Lively<\/a>, inviting the Gossip Girl<\/em> star to her upcoming wedding.<\/p>\n

Swift and Lively were close friends for years before their friendship faltered, allegedly after the 14-time Grammy winner was dragged into Lively\u2019s messy legal war with her It Ends With Us<\/em> co-star and director, Justin Baldoni. \u201cTaylor was not happy about being dragged into the lawsuit but was more receptive to speaking to Blake as the suit came to a close,\u201d a source told the outlet. \u201cBlake was ready to resume their friendship because it really was what caused its demise.\u201d<\/p>\n

After their friendship soured, Swift and Lively have apparently been trying to mend their previously unbreakable bond. An insider claimed that they \u201cnever fully stopped being friends\u201d and that they\u2019ve even \u201cspoken on the phone.\u201d The source added, \u201cEveryone around Taylor is aware that Blake could attend. She may not, but that won\u2019t be because she isn\u2019t welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another insider noted, \u201cBlake is on the cusp of getting a second chance, and they have had some loose conversations to test the waters to get the trust back. Blake is slowly getting back into the fold now that Taylor is having a change of heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes after a May 2026 report from Shuter<\/a>, which revealed that after Lively settled her legal dispute with Baldoni, she immediately got to work on repairing her friendship<\/a> with Swift. <\/p>\n

\u201cBlake genuinely believes there\u2019s still a path back,\u201d one source told Shuter\u2019s Naughty But Nice<\/em>. \u201cNow that the legal mess is over, she thinks the hardest part is behind her and there\u2019s real hope they can move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

A separate insider said Lively \u201calready has a dress picked out\u201d for Swift and Kelce\u2019s big day. \u201cThat\u2019s how convinced she was \u2014 and still is \u2014 that this friendship can be saved.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Swift and Lively seem determined to reconcile, the same cannot be said for Swift\u2019s longtime pals, Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry-Teller<\/a>. In early June, TMZ<\/a><\/em> reported that Swift didn\u2019t invite the Tellers to her wedding after a falling out.<\/p>\n

On June 13, the Daily Mail<\/a> <\/em>reported that Keleigh began distancing herself<\/a> from Swift after it emerged that Lively referred to the \u201cLove Story\u201d singer as her \u201cdragon\u201d during her courtroom battle with Baldoni.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeleigh didn\u2019t want to be a part of it,\u201d an insider explained, adding that she \u201ccouldn\u2019t believe they were talking like that to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strangely enough, before that, Lively reportedly \u201cfelt threatened\u201d by Swift\u2019s \u201ccloseness\u201d with Keleigh. After Swift began dating Kelce, she and Keleigh started spending more time together than Swift and Lively, prompting the A Simple Favor <\/em>actress to try and \u201ctear their friendship apart to be Taylor\u2019s number one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFriends told Keleigh to protect her mental health; she needs to take space, but they were still in contact here and there,\u201d the source said. Another insider claimed that the rift widened when \u201cKeleigh told Taylor she felt like she was always playing second, third, or even fourth fiddle to her other friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The breaking point reportedly came when Swift didn\u2019t reach out to Keleigh or Miles after they lost their home in the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. \u201cThat was the nail in the coffin of the friendship,\u201d an insider said. At the time, Swift was said to be \u201cexhausted\u201d after two years on her Eras Tour and was \u201cin touch with very few people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite this, mutual friends hope Keleigh and Swift can one day repair their friendship. \u201cAll of our friends are currently trying to fix this but it\u2019s hard to come back from losing everything and not hearing from your once closest friend,\u201d a source stated.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, Keleigh feels that attending Swift and Kelce\u2019s nuptials would make \u201cTaylor look good\u201d and make her look \u201clike a doormat.\u201d As a source put it, \u201cKeleigh wants the friendship to work itself out naturally without media book ending it. She is literally still heartbroken.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Miles, he\u2019s reportedly \u201cabsolutely disgusted\u201d by some of the allegations that have surfaced, particularly regarding \u201clifestyle differences.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
