<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAnnounced late last week, they will be closing down part of Lower Broadway in Nashville on the 27th for \u201cKeepin\u2019 It Country On Broadway.\u201d There will be a big screen and a stage erected on Broadway to broadcast the concert, and the event will be completely free and open to the public. The gates will open at 4:00 pm, and the event will also feature a live performance by James Carothers who\u2019s previously opened shows for Alan Jackson and plays at his Lower Broadway bar. Lower Broadway performer Cory Farley will also perform. <\/p>
Calling the event \u201cKeepin\u2019 It Country On Broadway\u201d is probably intentional. The Alan Jackson-owed AJ\u2019s Good Time Bar is one of the few establishments on Lower Broadway that specifically caters to traditional country. Robert\u2019s Western World is another. Most importantly though, this announcement creates even more opportunity to the general public to participate in Alan Jackson\u2019s final show, even if remotely. <\/p>
For those who don\u2019t want to venture to downtown Nashville or hang out in the June sun all day, NBC has confirmed that there will be a full film crew taping the whole thing for later distribution as a primetime concert special. Though no date has been confirmed for when it will air, this will give everyone the opportunity to see it. It will also be made available for streaming the day after (not the concert, but the TV special) on NBC\u2019s streaming service Peacock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fans have two other options<\/a> of how to view Alan Jackson\u2019s portion of the concert in real time, even if they can\u2019t be there in person. The Country Music Hall of Fame will be opening up their CMA Theater that will broadcast a live feed from the concert. Tickets were free, though you needed to reserve them. The venue has since\u00a0been sold out<\/a>\u00a0for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
