Emma Watson<\/strong><\/a> made a rare public appearance in London on Monday, June 22, stepping out to support Prince William<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s United for Wildlife charity.<\/p>\n

The Harry Potter<\/em><\/a> actress, 36, took part in a panel discussion with William, 44, and actor Benedict Cumberbatch<\/strong><\/a> at the event.<\/p>\n

Watson wore a black top and flowing white skirt for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales hosted Monday\u2019s business forum, which took place during London Climate Action Week, to unite business leaders around the world on how to better tackle the illegal wildlife trade and environmental crime.<\/p>\n

Watson has not had a major starring role in a movie since 2019\u2019s Little Women<\/em><\/a>, instead focusing her efforts on her philanthropic work. As well as supporting William and Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong>\u2019s Royal Foundation, she is also a UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador.<\/p>\n

Last year, the actress gave a rare interview<\/a> about her life since stepping away from Hollywood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll never say that I\u2019ll quit acting. I\u2019ll always be an actor. I\u2019m still open to doing it again,\u201d she said during a September 2025 appearance on the \u201cOn Purpose With Jay Shetty\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

Watson first found fame as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter<\/em> film series<\/a> released between 2001 and 2011. She starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe<\/strong> and Rupert Grint<\/strong> in all eight movies.<\/p>\n

After Harry Potter<\/em>, she said she often felt rejected on film sets, explaining, \u201cIt broke me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMost people don\u2019t come to those environments looking for friendships,\u201d the actress recalled. \u201cI found the rejection really painful. I think it was so unusual to make a set of films for 12 years, and we were a community.\u201d<\/p>\n
