ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller<\/strong> is on the road to recovery after an accident left him with serious injuries.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast week, I was involved in a serious car accident in Missouri and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital,\u201d Miller wrote via X<\/a> on Tuesday, June 23. \u201cI\u2019m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I have received, from the first responders to the doctors, nurses and medical staff. I\u2019m incredibly fortunate to be writing this.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post to his followers, Miller confirmed he sustained significant injuries, \u201cincluding multiple fractures and broken ribs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI also underwent a life-saving amputation of my left arm,\u201d he continued. \u201cWhile I have a long road ahead, I\u2019m focused on my recovery and taking things one day at a time. Thank you for the overwhelming support, prayers and kind messages \u2014 they have meant so much to me and my family during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to KOAM<\/span><\/a>, the accident happened on June 17 in Jasper County, Missouri. According to officials, Miller\u2019s Ford Bronco crossed over the center line and crashed into a semi-truck. The semi driver was uninjured.<\/p>\n

A portion of Mo-96, where the accident occurred, was closed for more than two hours for an investigation and cleanup. Images captured by KOAM show some of the damage to Miller\u2019s vehicle after the crash.<\/p>\n

Miller joined ESPN in 2021 as a contributor to the network\u2019s NFL draft coverage and became a year-round draft analyst the following year.<\/p>\n

He regularly appears on NFL Live<\/i>, SportsCenter<\/i> and the morning show Get Up! <\/i>in addition to draft-related programming.<\/p>\n

In one of his last Instagram posts before his accident, Miller shared a collection of photos from work.<\/p>\n

\u201c2026 NFL Draft,\u201d he wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on May 1 with behind-the-scenes photos from his coverage of the annual event.<\/p>\n

When updating X followers on his condition, Miller expressed hope that he will be back to work in no time.<\/p>\n
