The Maccabees<\/a> have today (June 23) shared the songs they\u2019re rehearsing for their summer 2026 setlist.<\/p>\n

The band will kick off their tour next month in London<\/a>, before dates across the UK follow \u201cThese are very likely to be the only indoor Maccabees shows of the year,\u201d they told fans on social media at the time. \u201cWe have great memories of both venues over the years and can\u2019t wait to be back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The songs shared by the band today include a Jamie T<\/a> collaboration with \u2018Sticks N Stones\u2019 that they\u2019ve played together before, as well as what appears to be two new songs, \u2018She\u2019 and \u2018Ballad Of So Long\u2019.<\/p>\n

Fans online have been excited about the prospect of both the Jamie T collaboration and new music, with one writing: \u201cI think these are new songs? If so, Can\u2019t wait!\u201d Another added \u201cSticks N Stones \u2013 always love this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding to the set list as a whole, one fan wrote: \u201cCan we have them all please?!\u201d while \u00a0another added: \u201cperfection \u2013 dream set list\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0NME\u00a0<\/em>ahead of their reunion shows, the band reflected on last year\u2019s gigs together.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s Orlando Weeks<\/a> told us:\u00a0\u201cI loved it, it\u2019s my favourite memories of playing with Maccs. I just thought it was a total pleasure, and I thought the shows were amazing \u2013 to see how much it seemed to matter to people.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven from a practical point of view, if you take away the emotional, sentimental goodness of it, we all know how to do it and we\u2019ve been away for long enough that to redo it is so nice. It\u2019s a shock at how natural it all feels, having had time away from it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about the prospect of new music, Weeks added: \u201cI would say we\u2019re slightly further on than just talking about it, but we\u2019re not a long way on. I live in Lisbon, so it\u2019s harder for me to just get in a room, but I think the fact that we\u2019re doing these shows is a good opportunity to put a fire under us. We\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
