Tickets for the \u2018big three\u2019 of the nightly entertainment at the Scotts Bluff County go on sale Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Starting at 9 a.m., you can get your advance tickets for the Truck and Tractor Pull Thursday, July 30, the Friday night concert Montgomery Gentry featuring Eddie Montgomery, and the ever-popular Rubber Check Race, marking it\u2019s 43rd year on Saturday, August 1.<\/p>\n
Fair Manager Lanna Hubbard says tickets for those events and others will all be general admission, with the tickets for the Rubber Check Race offered by section.<\/p>\n
Hubbard says there will be special \u2018patriotic\u2019 deal on the concert. \u201cWe\u2019re doing a week-long sale, purchasing your ticket for the $17.76. And we will do a week of that, and then the next tier will be, they\u2019ll go to $25, but you have the option to buy a second ticket for $20,\u201d said Hubbard, \u201cand then we\u2019ll go into the third tier where they go to, I believe, $30 or $35.<\/p>\n
Advance tickets for other events, such as the motocross and Chore-Time Relays will be handled by the sponsoring organizations, and will be sold at the door, and for a new event that\u2019s still coming together, those sales will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n
Hubbard says the new event on Thursday, July 29 will be a version of a \u2018children\u2019s rodeo\u2019. \u201cIt has mini bulls and there\u2019s different sessions for that. There\u2019s a walk-trot, and I\u2019m talking these are young children that are able to do this, basically they walk the bull out and I think they just get to ride. And then we\u2019ll add some mutton busting, which is always a crowd favorite,\u201d Hubbard says, \u201cAnd we\u2019re working on the mini pony races. It\u2019s kind of\u2026 they gotta mug and get them, you know, get them set and someone on them. So, we\u2019re hoping to get that event in and everything. So yeah, we\u2019re excited about that.\u201d<\/p>\n
