90 Day Fianc\u00e9<\/em><\/a> star Pedro Jimeno<\/strong> is engaged to girlfriend Valentina Malagon<\/strong> four years after his split from ex-wife Chantel Everett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Valentina, we got a big, big announcement to tell you because we are engaged! We are going to get married,\u201d Jimeno, 34, said in a video alongside Malagon uploaded via Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, June 23. \u201cI proposed to Valentina in Hawaii.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malagon shared in the clip that she was \u201cvery surprised\u201d by the proposal but it was ultimately an \u201camazing\u201d experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day of the proposal, I [said], \u2018We are going to go to the best place in Hawaii, to the best restaurant.\u2019 And we drive an hour away,\u201d Jimeno recalled. \u201cWhen we went to the place it was nothing, in the middle of nowhere. And she was like, \u2018Really? It\u2019s not a restaurant here.\u2019 She was a little pissed because she was hungry. But I got it done!\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple also explained that they want to start the wedding planning process \u201cvery soon\u201d and are looking to hold the ceremony in either Colombia, the Dominican Republic or the United States.<\/p>\n

Jimeno also recalled how he and Malagon\u2019s \u201camazing connection\u201d has grown since they met in Tulum.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy life [has] changed with Valentina. She loves me a lot,\u201d he said before the pair ended the video with a sweet kiss.<\/p>\n

Jimeno also included a special message for his fianc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we\u2019re not just celebrating a \u2018yes.\u2019 We\u2019re celebrating the moment when two paths, two stories, and two dreams decided to become one forever,\u201d he wrote in the post\u2019s caption. \u201cValentina came into my life as an answer, as a blessing that God placed on my path to show me that true love isn\u2019t something you search for \u2026 it\u2019s something you recognize.\u201d<\/p>\n
