The latest milestone comes a year after the beloved comedian returned to acting with a role in Tyler Perry’s Straw<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Sinbad<\/a>‘s children are showering him with love.<\/p>\n Not only did Royce and Paige Adkins honor their dad for Father’s Day, but the two have also been there to support the comedian, 69, as he made his return to stand-up, with two recent performances.<\/p>\n “Stuntin’ like my daddy at all times. In November 2022, his family shared an update on Instagram<\/a> and his website, explaining that the stroke was triggered after a blood clot traveled from his heart to his brain.<\/p>\n The actor \u2014 known for comedy-movie roles in Coneheads<\/a><\/em> (1993), Jingle All the Way<\/a><\/em> (1996), <\/em>First Kid<\/a><\/em> (1996) and Good Burger<\/a><\/em> (1997), as well as the TV series A Different World<\/a><\/em> and others \u2014 made his first public appearance since the stroke<\/a> in February 2024, joining other Different World<\/em> cast members via Zoom for the first stop on a 10-city tour of historically Black colleges<\/a> and universities in Atlanta.<\/p>\n Last month, Paige got the opportunity to open for her father in his first comedy show since the stroke, sharing her excitement for the milestone on her Instagram.<\/p>\n \u201cTonight, I’m opening for the man, the myth, the legend himself.
