The Strictly Come Dancing judging panel BBC\/Guy Levy<\/span><\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n We haven\u2019t even had the summer holidays yet, and we\u2019re already getting announcements about the <\/span>Strictly Come Dancing<\/span><\/a> cast.<\/span><\/p>\n After months of speculation about <\/span>who the new hosts<\/span><\/a> of the BBC dance competition could be, attention has now turned to which famous faces will be hitting the ballroom when the show returns in the autumn.<\/span><\/p>\n Traditionally, Strictly starts revealing its celebrity line-up in early August, ahead of the show\u2019s return in September.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, this year, it looks like BBC bosses are getting ahead of the rumours and gossip by announcing the line-up early, with stars from across the world of music, TV and more already being unveiled.<\/span><\/p>\n If you\u2019re already looking forward to Strictly\u2019s return, here\u2019s our quick guide to who has been cast so far\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>first cast member<\/span><\/a> announced this year was <\/span>EastEnders<\/span><\/a> star <\/span>Lacey Turner<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Lacey is best known for playing Stacey Slater in the BBC soap on-and-off since 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n She has also starred in the military drama <\/span>Our Girl<\/span><\/a> and appeared in <\/span>Call The Midwife<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and can\u2019t quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year!\u201d she said when her Strictly stint was confirmed by the BBC in mid-June.<\/span><\/p>\n The soap star added: \u201cI look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Dani Dyer<\/span><\/a> was originally supposed to take part in last year\u2019s season of Strictly, even filming an appearance in the pre-recorded launch show, but was eventually forced to pull <\/span>due to injury<\/span><\/a> just days before the first live show.<\/span><\/p>\n She was replaced on the line-up by fellow <\/span>Love Island<\/span><\/a> winner <\/span>Amber Davies<\/span><\/a>, who made it through to the 2025 final.<\/span><\/p>\n Almost a year later, Dani is now getting a second chance at nabbing the coveted Glitterball trophy.<\/span><\/p>\n She said<\/span><\/a>: \u201cI am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September! I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one!<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it!\u201d Dani added.<\/span><\/p>\n Pop singer and actor Delta Goodrem<\/span> was the <\/span>third name announced for this year\u2019s Strictly<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Although best known as a singer thanks to hits like Born To Try and Lost Without You, the Australian performer found fame playing Nina Tucker in Neighbours, a role she held for around three years in the mid-2000s.<\/span><\/p>\n She\u2019s also no stranger to reality TV, having served as both a coach on The Voice and The Voice Kids in her home country.<\/span><\/p>\n Delta\u2019s addition to the ballroom competition comes after her success at this year\u2019s <\/span>Eurovision Song Contest<\/span><\/a>. During the live final in Vienna back in May, she represented Australia with her song Eclipse, finishing in fourth place overall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When announced as taking part in Strictly, she beamed: \u201cI\u2019ve been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career \u2013 from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere is, however, one stage I\u2019ve never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor! I\u2019m absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can\u2019t wait to get started!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The fourth addition<\/span><\/a> to the Strictly 2026 cast is <\/span>Chris Appleton<\/span><\/a>, hairstylist to the stars and the man behind some of <\/span>Kim Kardashian\u2019s<\/span><\/a> most famous red carpet hairdos.<\/span><\/p>\n Chris has earned a following online for his hair tutorials, as well as his collaborations with high-profile clients like <\/span>Britney Spears<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Jennifer Lopez<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Ariana Grande<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The UK-born stylist said: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be joining Strictly Come Dancing and coming home to the UK for this incredible experience.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve always believed that the best things happen when you take a chance and try something new. I may know my way around a salon floor, but the dance floor is a whole different story \u2013 and I can\u2019t wait to get started.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Strictly Come Dancing will return to our screens in the autumn.
