The duo recently shared a dance reel in which they appeared dressed in elaborate costumes adorned with peacock feathers while performing to a song celebrating the national bird.<\/p>\n
The video sparked criticism after social activist Dinesh Kallahalli lodged a complaint with the Karnataka Forest Department. He alleged that the use of costumes made from a large number of peacock feathers could amount to a violation of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.<\/p>\n
In his complaint, Kallahalli urged forest authorities to investigate the source and authenticity of the feathers used in the costumes and take appropriate legal action if any wildlife laws had been violated. The matter is currently awaiting further action from the Forest Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
