On Tuesday, June 23, the former Dancing with the Stars<\/em><\/a> troupe member and So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/a> winner, 26, shared a statement on her Instagram Stories<\/a> confirming their separation.\u00a0<\/p>\n“After much consideration and with the greatest respect for each other, Jake and I have made the decision to separate,” Warr wrote. “Whilst this hasn’t been an easy decision, it has been reached with a huge amount of love and we’re each other’s biggest cheerleaders.”<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\nAlexis Warr in October 2025

The couple, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot on Nov. 15, 2018. In November 2025, Warr shared a post on Instagram<\/a> to mark their seventh wedding anniversary, calling Burton “the absolute love of my life.”\u00a0<\/p>\n“7 years of being your wife has been an absolute privilege,” continued Warr. “I’m so incredibly lucky and grateful to be loved by you.
