\u201cFrasier\u201d star Kelsey Grammer<\/a> stopped by Fox News\u2019 \u201cJesse Watters Primetime\u201d<\/a> Tuesday night and pushed back against the critics of President Trump\u2019s Reflecting Pool renovations, arguing, \u201cThey\u2019ve been consumed by hatred.\u201d<\/p>\n Watters teed up his interview with Grammer with a monologue about the recently redone Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C.<\/a>, which turned green from algae for several days, despite Trump\u2019s many promises to keep its water blue. \u201cThat pool is America\u2019s mirror. We look in it and we love what we see,\u201d Watters said. \u201cThe Left hates everything they see. They want it broken and murky. They don\u2019t want it to reflect the greatness of the nation.\u201d<\/p>\n The Fox News pundit listed the many D.C. renovations that Trump has dedicated part of his second presidential term to over the past year and a half, concluding with photographs of the since-cleaned Reflecting Pool. \u201cThe algae\u2019s been removed, water\u2019s clean, and we hope it stays that way,\u201d Watters said, prompting Grammer to later tell him, \u201cI liked the monologue. Nice touch. Very nice, man.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere is a virus that has infected a very small number of people, I think, who just want to tear things down,\u201d Grammar went on to say, when asked by Watters why Americans can\u2019t have nice things. \u201cThey\u2019ve been consumed by hatred. And, of course, hatred ends up basically destroying you. So they\u2019re welcome to it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI pray for them. This whole idea of, \u2018Out of many, we are one,\u2019 is one of the greatest things in the world,\u201d Grammar argued. \u201cIt\u2019s by definition a diverse nation, but we have a unifying concept that everybody\u2019s worth reaching for the Moon and America will help you do it.\u201d<\/p>\n Watters asked Grammer how he will be celebrating America\u2019s 250th birthday.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the 250th anniversary, I want to be with my family.
