Even more signs are pointing to Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong>\u2019<\/a>s upcoming wedding possibly being held at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n The New York Times<\/em> <\/a>reported on Wednesday, June 24, that a permit was filed with New York City to close the streets around the venue from July 2 to midday July 4 for an event on July 3, according to three people who have knowledge of the matter.<\/p>\n A city official who was briefed on the preparations confirmed to the outlet that MSG is planning to host the wedding on July 3. The report also claimed that Amtrak police officers, who patrol the station underneath MSG, were told to expect a wedding that weekend.<\/p>\n Winick Productions, which has helped produce events at MSG, also filed an application with the city\u2019s Street Activity Permit Office earlier this month. In the request, the company asked to set up a tent or canopy outside the venue for the event \u2014 which may include 500 to 999 people \u2014 and said trucks would need space for loading and unloading.<\/p>\n Some of Kelce\u2019s Kansas City Chiefs teammates have also booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square \u2014 just blocks from MSG \u2014 per a person told of the accommodations.<\/p>\n Us Weekly<\/em> reached out to Swift\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n Ever since Swift and Kelce, both 36, announced their engagement in 2025<\/a> after two years of dating, questions have swirled about where the famous couple would decide to tie the knot. Reports initially indicated that the pop star and NFL player might exchange vows at her Rhode Island mansion, but Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse<\/strong> said he wasn\u2019t sure that was the plan.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know about that,\u201d Whitehouse told TMZ DC this month when asked about the rumors. \u201cI think that she gave Rhode Island a pass.
