Jelly Roll<\/strong><\/a> has released his first song since filing for divorce from Bunnie Xo<\/strong><\/a> after nearly 10 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody get your hands up \/ Ev\u0435rybody put your hands up \/ If you ain\u2019t perfect but you try \/ Put \u2018em way up to the sky \/ Touchin\u2019 heaven kinda high \/ Ain\u2019t that where we wanna go when we die \/ Whoa, whoa, whoa \/ Just put your hands up \/ Everybody put your hands up,\u201d Jelly Roll, 41, sings in his track \u201cHands Up,\u201d which was released on Wednesday, June 24.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the song\u2019s release, Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) teased the anthem via his Instagram while reflecting on his weight-loss journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn day 1, I walked in the rain,\u201d Jelly Roll wrote over a throwback video of him walking in a driveway with his hands on his hips as he sported a rain coat.<\/p>\n

The video then showed a clip of Jelly Roll explaining, \u201cEverytime I said I was going to lose the weight, I lied to myself. I would tell myself, \u2018I\u2019m going to do this. I\u2019m going to go do that.\u2019 And then I\u2019d go tell my family that. There\u2019s a big person listening to this right now or a drug addict or somebody who wants to change some part of their life, who right now is going, \u2018I\u2019m going to start next Monday.\u2019 That first Monday comes, it is pissing rain. Cats and dogs, dude. And I wake up and I\u2019m like, \u2018S***.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cMy daughter was like, \u2018Just wait \u2018til the rain quits and do it on the treadmill or something.\u2019 But in my mind, I was like, \u2018No I\u2019m going outside, you know. I\u2019m done lying to y\u2019all and I\u2019m done lying to me. I told y\u2019all I was going to do this walk, I\u2019m going to do this walk.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

A clip then played of Jelly Roll continuing his walk from that first day, before transitioning to him running through the street now in the rain. In the video, Jelly Roll lifted his hands in the air as he ran.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, I\u2019m sprinting in the rain,\u201d he wrote over the clip. \u201cBecause one day, not that long ago, I stopped lying to myself. I barely made it up my driveway that day. I\u2019m alive today because I didn\u2019t lose faith. F*** Monday. Start today. \u2018Hands up\u2019 out at midnight.\u201d<\/p>\n
