\n\tLainey Wilson, Jaime Pressly, Billy Gardell and Tyne Daly\u00a0will guest star in the second season of Leanne<\/a>, the Netflix<\/a> sitcom Leanne Morgan<\/a> stars in and co-created with Susan McMartin and comedy kingpin Chuck Lorre<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tMorgan\u2019s continuing working relationship with Netflix follows a 16-episode first season for the sitcom that spent two weeks in the streamer\u2019s global top 10 rankings for English-language series after its July 31, 2025, premiere. Leanne\u00a0also stars Kristen Johnston, Celia Weston, Blake Clark, Ryan Stiles, Jayma Mays, Tim Daly, Graham Rogers, Hannah Pilkes and Andrea Anders.<\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix in a synopsis says the sitcom sees Leanne\u2019s world \u201cturned upside down when her husband of 33 years unexpectedly leaves her for another woman. Supported by her family, including her ride-or-die sister Carol (Kristen Johnston), Leanne learns to embrace the chaos and finds strength, laughter and hope in the most unexpected places. This heartfelt comedy proves that it\u2019s never too late to rewrite your story.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe multicamera sitcom is from Chuck Lorre Productions, in association with Warner Bros.<\/a> Television, Lorre\u2019s longtime home via an overall deal. Lorre executive produces alongside Nick Bakay, Morgan and Judi Marmel.<\/p>\n

\n\tMorgan also did her second Netflix stand-up special,\u00a0Unspeakable Things<\/a>, after 2023\u2019s\u00a0I\u2019m Every Woman. She has another Netflix special on tap for 2027. The Tennessee native worked the comedy club and touring circuit for 25 years before rising to stardom with her first Netflix special.\u00a0<\/p>\n
