Bachelor in Paradise <\/i>season 9 couple Kylee Russell<\/b> and Aven Jones <\/b>have called it quits for good.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad to finally close that chapter,\u201d Kylee, 29, began on the Tuesday, June 23, episode of the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cAven and I are no longer together. I think I\u2019m OK with that, actually, I know I\u2019m OK with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cWe\u2019re just both two very different people who want two very different things in life, and we clearly tried for three years. No ill will towards him at all, but I think it\u2019s time to officially close that chapter and move on and actually find my person.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kylee and Aven, 32, started dating during BiP <\/i>season 9<\/span><\/a>, which aired in 2023, after exchanging flirty social media messages before arriving on the beach. Despite a sweet onscreen love story, the pair went their separate ways that December.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing our relationship announcement yesterday, I want to thank my God, he didn\u2019t allow me to live another day in the dark,\u201d Kylee wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a>, one day after the twosome made their social media debut as a couple. \u201cIn the last 24 hours, I have been grasping with the fact that one of the most important relationships in my life dissolved due to multiple infidelities.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued at the time, \u201cThis is not just a show but my real life and for the foreseeable future, I will be in a time of healing and trying to put the puzzle pieces of my life back together. Please respect my privacy at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Aven never publicly addressed the accusations, Kylee confirmed in July 2024<\/span><\/a> that she and the Bachelorette <\/i>alum had given their romance another shot.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the beginning, he was doing the work. He was going to therapy, ensuring that my move to San Diego went smoothly,\u201d Kylee recalled on the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcast at the time. \u201cHe was there for me, he was providing for me, it was great.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the one-year anniversary of Kylee and Aven\u2019s BiP <\/i>meeting, they reached a crossroads in their rekindled relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a big tough conversation with him expressing to me, \u2018Hey, I\u2019m doing all of this. I want this to work but I still feel like you\u2019re holding back. I don\u2019t know if this is going to work anymore,\u2019\u201d she said, noting that Aven subsequently ended their romance. \u201cI don\u2019t really want to speak for him but basically what he had to say was some days he felt he would wake up and he would think he had such great hopes for us, think we would get to where we needed to be to have a forever future together. Other days he woke up and he was just like, \u2018There\u2019s much damage that I have done personally, I don\u2019t think our relationship will ever recover from that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite their 2024 breakup, Kylee and Aven found their way back to each other the next year.<\/p>\n
