The newly announced artists join an already powerful lineup led by Lauryn Hill, who will reunite with Wyclef Jean<\/a> to perform The Score in celebration of its 30th anniversary, alongside YG Marley<\/a> and Zion Marley, completing a cross-generational programme rooted in music, culture and diaspora connection.\u00a0<\/p>\n The new acts announced include, Erykah Badu, one of the most influential and artists of her generation, a UK legend in Giggs, Fireboy DML<\/a>, one of the defining voices in contemporary African music, as well as\u00a0an appearance from Dave Chappelle, the award-winning comedian and storyteller whose work has become synonymous with sharp social commentary and fearless cultural observation. \u00a0<\/p>\n A dynamic programme and lineup, this reinforces Diaspora Calling! as more than a festival, but a large social and cultural gathering celebrating each and every background in the UK. \u00a0<\/p>\n Diaspora Calling! was originally conceived by Lauryn Hill 2016.
