Karen Derrico<\/strong> is known for her role as a TLC star, but she\u2019s also been making headlines for a recent arrest.<\/p>\n

Karen made her TLC debut in 2020 when Doubling Down With the Derricos<\/em> premiered. The reality show followed Karen and her then-husband, Deon Derrico, along with their 14 children.<\/p>\n

Doubling Down With the Derricos<\/em> ran for five seasons on TLC, coming to an end in 2024 after Karen and Deon\u2019s divorce. Two years later, news broke that Karen was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill<\/a> Deon and their kids.<\/p>\n

She was arraigned in June 2026 and pleaded not guilty. TMZ confirmed that Karen was released from police custody on a $2,000 bond and was outfitted with an ankle monitor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe allegations are completely false,\u201d Karen\u2019s attorney Jess Marchese<\/strong> told Oxygen True Crime<\/em> in a statement at the time. \u201cAnd we will prove they were completely fabricated by Mr. Derrico.\u201d<\/p>\n

Who Is Karen Derrico?<\/h2>\n

Karen rose to fame with her large family in 2020 after Doubling Down With the Derricos<\/em> premiered on TLC.<\/p>\n

In 2002, Karen \u2014 a South Carolina native \u2014 relocated to Detroit to work as a flight attendant. She met Deon in a club and they hit it off. While Karen was a full-time stay-at-home mom during the show, she previously ran her own preschool.<\/p>\n

Deon and Karen announced in June 2024 that they were getting divorced.<\/a><\/p>\n

How Many Kids Do Karen and Deon Derrico Have?<\/h2>\n

The former couple are the parents of 14 kids.<\/p>\n

Karen gave birth to Darian in 2005 before welcoming Derrick in 2010. Twin boys Denver and Dallas were born in 2011. Karen gave birth to quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and \u200bDaiten in 2013. They welcomed triplets Diez, Dior and Carter in 2017. (Carter died shortly after childbirth.)<\/p>\n
