Jackass star Johnny Knoxville<\/a> is sharing the behind-the-scenes details of the 2011 episode in which Brad Pitt appeared anonymously<\/p>\nIn a video shared by the Associated Press,<\/a> Knoxville says the plan was “to shoot a bit with him called ‘Night Monkeys,’ where everyone dresses up as a gorilla, does silly stuff around town, and we just have him lift his head at the end.”<\/p>\n“But while they were waiting for me to get done with another bit, Jeff [Tremaine] goes, ‘Hey, can we kidnap you in front of Pink’s Hot Dogs?’ He said, “Yeah,’ ” Knoxville said.<\/p>\n
That episode \u2014 in which Pitt, now 62, appears to have been kidnapped in front of the iconic Los Angeles restaurant \u2014 aired in Season 3, Episode 8 of the MTV show.<\/p>\n

Tremaine, who co-created and directed the show, added: “He said, ‘Sure.’ And we just didn’t wait. He didn’t make one phone call. He just said yes. And we got in the van and did it. It was the good old days where we fit it all in one day.”<\/p>\n
“And he loved it,” added fellow Jackass star Chris Pontius.<\/p>\n
The gorilla sketch was also filmed, Knoxville noted, saying, “It aired on TV. It just kind of got overshadowed. Kind of dumb to have Brad Pitt with a mask on the whole time. Like what’s the point? But we’re kind of dumb.”<\/p>\n
