Yard Act have shared another track from their upcoming third album.<\/p>\n
Delivering a restrained, stripped back sound, New Beginnings offers a further glimpse into ‘You\u2019re Gonna Need A Little Music’, which, along with the previously shared lead single Redeemer<\/a>, finds the Mercury Prize-nominated Leeds band exploring darker and more cynical themes. Vocalist James Smith said:<\/p>\n
“New Beginnings is a bit of light to counteract the dark we led with ‘Redeemer’. Sometimes we’ve already shed our old skin without even realising it’s happening. Celebrate the new, because you can’t go back.\u201d<\/p>\n
The band introduced the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Where\u2019s My Utopia?’ last month, confirming its July 17 release via Island Records. Head here<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n
They’ll support it with a UK in-store tour<\/a>\u00a0that kicks off during release week, alongside summer dates across Europe and North America, followed by a full UK and European tour in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.<\/p>\n
