\n\tSombr<\/a>\u2019s just like us \u2014 apparently he also can\u2019t get enough of Obsession<\/a><\/em> and Off<\/em> Campus<\/em>. <\/p>\n \n\tThe 20-year-old singer-songwriter released his new music<\/a> for \u201cMy Body Isn\u2019t Ready\u201d on Thursday, which featured a few famous faces. Josh Heuston<\/a>, who played college band frontman Justin in Prime Video\u2019s hit romance show Off Campus<\/a><\/em>, and Inde Navarrette<\/a>, the breakout star of Curry Barker<\/a>\u2019s surprise box office hit Obsession<\/em>, star alongside Sombr in the video.<\/p>\n \n\tThe over-four-minute music video starts off with Sombr walking up to a Hollywood Hills house party and finds Heuston showing off his new art piece while Navarrette sits by the pool eating watermelon. Navarrette and Sombr meet as he builds towards the chorus. The singer looks to camera throughout the video while he belts the song\u2019s thesis: \u201cI like you, but my body isn\u2019t ready \/ I want you, but the mirror won\u2019t let me \/ I try to be the person you\u2019re expecting \/ But I\u2019m not ready, I\u2019m not ready.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNavarrette and Sombr fall in love over the course of the cinematic music video. At one point, he ends up in a full body cast, and of course, she\u2019s the only one who really sees him as him. The video was directed by Gus Black.<\/p>\n \n\tThe new song, which he wrote and co-produced, and its accompanying video are quite vulnerable and raw. While the video shows an eventual love story, it seems to focus more on the singer\u2019s own perception of himself, with several shots of him looking in the mirror. It\u2019s a bit of a departure from his last two music videos \u201cPotential\u201d and \u201cHomewrecker,\u201d which lean more on the groovier side. <\/p>\n \n\tSombr is slated to be the interview and musical guest on Thursday\u2019s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>. <\/p>\n
