The Rolling Stones<\/a> have shared a new track featuring Robert Smith<\/a>, \u2018Divine Intervention\u2019, along with another single, \u2018Jealous Lover\u2019. Listen below.<\/p>\n

The songs are the latest previews of the legendary band\u2019s upcoming 25th studio album, \u2018Foreign Tongues<\/a>\u2018, which is out on July 10 via Polydor\/Universal Music.<\/p>\n

Upon announcing the follow-up to 2023\u2019s Grammy<\/a>-winning \u2018Hackney Diamonds\u2019<\/a>, Mick Jagger<\/a> and co. revealed that the record would boast contributions from the Cure<\/a> frontman, and the likes of Paul McCartney<\/a> and Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/a>\u2018 Chad Smith.<\/p>\n

\u2018Divine Intervention\u2019 is a rollicking, high-tempo rock tune, with Smith on electric guitar, and Steve Winwood<\/a> on piano and organ. The cut is one of two songs to feature Smith on \u2018Foreign Tongues\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Vulture<\/em><\/a> about how he enlisted the Cure singer, Jagger recalled how \u201cthere was this bloke standing there with his back to me with his long gown on\u201d in the studio, \u201cand when he turned around he was covered in lipstick\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018Yeah, we\u2019ve never met\u2019,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd then I said, \u2018Well, while you\u2019re here then you\u2019d better go and do something\u2019. That\u2019s how collaborations work sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n
