Kelsey Grammer<\/a> recently met with President Donald Trump<\/a> at the Oval Office \u2014 right after discussing the possibility of his own political run for office.<\/p>\n On Thursday, June 25, the Cheers<\/a><\/em> and Frasier<\/em><\/a> actor, 71, met with the POTUS, 80, for about an hour while in Washington, D.C., for a screening of Young Washington<\/a><\/em>, Deadline<\/a> reported. The men reportedly chatted about the film, their families, and politics. The actor also left with a \u201cswag bag\u201d that included hats and a Bible.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, on June 24, Us Weekly<\/a> published an article about Grammer\u2019s potential future in politics. The actor teased his political aspirations while celebrating Fox Nation\u2019s new documentary The Patriot War<\/i>, which he hosts.<\/p>\n \u201cI would consider it. It would possibly tick that box for me, in terms of the service I feel I should have given to my fellow man \u2014 to my fellow countrymen \u2014 that I missed in the military,\u201d Grammer told the publication.\u00a0\u201cMaybe that would be the way to do it.
