Steve Lacy<\/a> has teamed up with SZA<\/a> for their confessional new duet \u201cis it cool?,\u201d the second single from his upcoming album, Oh yeah?<\/em><\/a> Stream it below.<\/p>\n To open the track, Lacy admits to occasionally being a cheater. Now, though, he really wants to settle down. \u201cI really want [to] commit,\u201d Lacy sings. \u201cReally, really want commitment\/ Can\u2019t keep fucking shit up.\u201d Attempting to convince a lover to stay, he implores that \u201cwe could die any day\u201d as a reason why they should hook up.<\/p>\n Buy Oh yeah?<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n If that sounds like a bit of hypocrisy, Lacy later clarifies he\u2019s trying his best: \u201cI never learned to love properly\/ The mind be playing tricks when the heart\u2019s involved\/ I proceed to self-sabotage.\u201d In response, SZA shows her understanding with lyrics like, \u201cCan we get naked instead of talking, babe?\/ I ain\u2019t trippin\u2019, we both got options, babe.\u201d<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n Oh yeah?<\/em> is out July 17th and also includes the lead single \u201cthe feeling.\u201d<\/a> As revealed in the newly unveiled tracklist, the follow-up to 2022\u2019s Gemini Rights<\/em><\/a> also features appearances from Erykah Badu and Cecile Believe.
