Atta Boy Gets Experimental With 4th Album, <i>Silt<\/i><\/h2>\n<p>L.A. indie rock quartet <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetyhigh.com\/tag\/atta-boy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atta Boy<\/a>\u2014Eden Brolin, Lewis Pullman, Freddy Reish and Dashel Thompson\u2014have been making music together for 15 years, but they\u2019ve never been more unified and more keyed into their artistry than with their new album,\u00a0<em>Silt<\/em>. Recorded in L.A. and then tinkered on for months across time zones, it\u2019s a unique showcase of the power of giving songs room to breathe and the kind of collaboration that can only happy between artists who really trust each other. Its title refers to the cycles of murkiness and clarity that can come to us in life, like silt kicked up from the bottom of a river, resulting in songs that are as cathartic as they are expressive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the things we\u2019ve kind of come back to over and over again with the silt imagery is this image of swimming underwater on a river or a lake,\u201d the band\u2019s Dashel Thompson shared in an interview with Sweety High. \u201cAs you swim along the body of water, the silt at the bottom gets kicked up and your vision\u2019s obscured, and now you can\u2019t really see, but you keep going, and as it settles down and clears out, you can see again. There\u2019s this cycle of that can happen that\u2019s part of a much bigger cycle, and that\u2019s a lovely metaphor for life, and the ways in which you go through periods of where things are uncertain and the only way through is forward. The new track is called \u201cTo Want Someone Badly,\u201d highlighting the star\u2019s silky-smooth vocals against a rich soundscape, blending classic R&amp;B grooves with edgy stings to tell a story of yearning and devotion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>4. MR. FANTASY Creates His Own Dream World With Debut Album, <i>FANTASYLAND<\/i><\/h2>\n<p>Viral sensation and musical artist <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetyhigh.com\/tag\/mr-fantasy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MR. Cailin Russo Is Totally Unapologetic With \u2018X On My Chest\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Grammy-nominated artist <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetyhigh.com\/tag\/cailin-russo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cailin Russo<\/a> is no stranger to the spotlight, and with her new single \u201cX On My Chest,\u201d she doesn\u2019t care who\u2019s out to get her. With warbly synths and a driving beat, the track sees Cailin completely embracing who she is, refusing to apologize for her truth. She knows that her fame and success make her a target for ridicule and disdain, and she couldn\u2019t care less.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI started this song with one of my best friends @agnesazria in her apartment,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaDu-o5JzHT\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cailin wrote in a post on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI was so attracted to the synth sound and immediately asked her to loop it and add the most minimal nasty drums. The new track jumps between edgy rock verses, soaring pop falsettos and punk-rap aggression, constantly keeping listeners on their toes as Haiden flexes the versatility of his vocals and artistry.
