Get ready for more deception, backstabbing, and\u00a0murder:\u00a0The Traitors<\/a>\u00a0is returning to Peacock<\/a> for Season 2 with a mind-blowing, all-star cast of reality stars.<\/p>\n Once again hosted by Alan Cumming \u2014 and his ever-impressive wardrobe packed to the brim with stylish tartan and kilts \u2014 the Scotsman will be joined in Season 2 by\u00a0his dog Lala, who is being introduced as his trusty sidekick. The only thing that could make Cumming and his freaking dog more exciting? A list of celebrities so long, we can’t help but wonder how they’re all going to fit in Cumming’s castle!<\/p>\n RELATED:\u00a0The Traitors Creators Reveal the Secret Behind Casting for U.S., U.K. Murder Mysteries<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Set in a remote castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, five-time Emmy-nominated host Cumming will welcome these 21 larger-than-life personalities as they come together to compete in a series of challenges with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000.<\/p>\n The catch? Several contestants (dubbed “the Traitors”) will devise a plan to steal the prize from the other contestants (“the Faithful”) without revealing who’s stabbing them in the back.<\/p>\n Check out the post on Youtube<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n And unlike Season 1, which saw reality television icons go up against everyday people getting their first taste of onscreen fame, Season 2 is all celebrities all the time. Let’s meet our contestants:<\/p>\n A late contestant addition to Love Island USA Season 5, Carsten \u201cBergie\u201d Bergersen didn’t officially win the season but he made a love match with fellow contestant, Taylor Smith. He was a fan favorite on the show for his “nice guy” ways, so we’ll see if that gets used against him on The Traitors.<\/p>\n Chris Tamburello started his reality competition journey with The Real World: Paris in 2003. That series made him a reality competition staple, especially on\u00a0The\u00a0Challenge <\/i>where he’s won 14 seasons of the long-running series. He cultivated a bad boy persona on those shows but he’s aged into a more mellow place in his life. We’ll see what version of C.T. lands in the Scottish Highlands.\u00a0<\/p>\n Dan Gheesling rocketed to fame due to his appearances on\u00a0Big Brother <\/i>Season 10 <\/i>and\u00a0Big Brother <\/i>Season 14. <\/i>He won Season 10 <\/i>by unanimous vote and came in second in Season 14, which means the guy knows how to work personalities clustered under one roof and still gain friends. He’s one to watch when it comes to working the room.\u00a0<\/p>\n Wilder is a professional boxer who held the\u00a0WBC\u00a0heavyweight\u00a0title from 2015 to 2020. He won a bronze medal in the heavyweight division at the\u00a02008 Olympics, and earned the nickname:\u00a0“The Bronze Bomber.” He’s got an amazing knockout-to-win percentage, but will that translate when it comes to a room of celebs who need a softer hand in this game of wits?<\/p>\n The winner of\u00a0Love Island UK <\/i>Season 8,\u00a0<\/i>Ekin-Su C\u00fclc\u00fclo\u011flu is a model and TV host. Most recently, she was a competitor on Dancing on Ice Season 15 and an expert on the BBC One game show, The Wheel.\u00a0<\/p>\n Practically reality competition TV royalty,\u00a0Janelle Pierzina\u00a0was a competitor on four seasons of\u00a0Big Brother, <\/i>one season of The Amazing Race <\/i>and co-winner of <\/i>USA Network’s\u00a0Snake in the Grass<\/a>. <\/i>She knows her way around big personalities and excels at coming out on top.<\/p>\n Devenanzio is another The Real World contestant who transitioned to the competition series,\u00a0The\u00a0Challenge.<\/i>\u00a0He is infamous as a contestant on The Challenge for causing fights and stealing other people’s winnings,\u00a0so put him in the chaos camp of contestants.\u00a0<\/p>\n If you watched any UK news until 2019, there’s a good chance you caught former UK Parliament\u00a0Speaker of the House of Commons\u00a0John Bercow bellowing, “Order!” at his peers who wouldn’t get quiet on the floor. Now retired, he brings with him a reputation for bullying that might not do so well in The Traitor mansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n A\u00a0model and fitness professional, Kreider is the break-out star of the reality show,\u00a0Bling Empire.\u00a0<\/i>The antithesis of his ultra-rich co-stars on that show, Kreider came from a middle class family and was a frequent commentator on the excess around him. That perfectly positions him to do the same on The Traitors and perhaps exploit the less savvy around him for his own gain.\u00a0<\/p>\n An original cast member on\u00a0The\u00a0Real Housewives of Miami<\/i><\/a>, Pippen is the ex-wife of former\u00a0NBA\u00a0player\u00a0Scottie Pippen. She has made the rounds of many of the celeb-centric reality shows, so she has plenty of prior friendships and competitor knowledge that could help her game.\u00a0<\/p>\n The second oldest child of basketball legend Michael Jordan, Marcus was a college basketball player. We’ll see if his game translates to the strategy needed to win The Traitors.<\/p>\n The beloved, long-time\u00a0professional dancer\u00a0on the American version of\u00a0Dancing with\u00a0the\u00a0Stars,\u00a0<\/i>Chmerkovskiy has charm and plenty of moves that could translate well to the challenges presented to the players. But will he be too nice to play a dirty game?\u00a0<\/p>\n A real estate agent\u00a0featured in the cast of the\u00a0Shahs of Sunset<\/i>. She admitted in Season 2 of the series that she is a felon convicted of bank fraud so she has experience bending the rules. She’s a people person and knows the elite world of many of her peers so she could have some sway if she makes the right friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n A legend of\u00a0Survivor, <\/i>she won\u00a0<\/i>Survivor: Micronesia and has competed well in three other seasons. She’s got a great mind for strategy, can be ruthless and will likely observe and dominate like The Traitors Season 1 winner,\u00a0Cirie Fields.<\/p>\n The runner up on Season 9 of RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race, <\/i>Peppermint is a singer and performer. She’s got a fabulous personality which will stir it up amongst the contestants but will she be able to run under the radar if needed?<\/p>\n An alumni of Season 15 of\u00a0The Bachelorette\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0<\/i>Season 24 of The\u00a0Bachelor, <\/i>Weber walked away from the franchise gaining a relationship with fellow contestant\u00a0Kelley Flanagan. He’s a professional pilot and lives a more every day life than the rest of the cast.\u00a0<\/p>\n A reality TV veteran of\u00a0The\u00a0Real Housewives of Atlanta,\u00a0The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Married to Medicine. Parks <\/i>is also a lawyer by profession which is well suited to the mental machinations she’s going to face on The Traitors.\u00a0<\/p>\n Another\u00a0Survivor <\/i>winner and legend of the game, Twine won\u00a0Survivor: Pearl Islands<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.\u00a0<\/i>She’s also competed in four other Survivor seasons which means she’s never really left that mindset. Clearly a major plus in her favor since she’s got Parvati Shallow to deal with this season, and plenty of contestants gunning for her since she’s so good at what she does – winning.\u00a0<\/p>\n An on-and-off cast member of\u00a0The\u00a0Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i>, Whitfield will either have a built-in enemy or ally with fellow Atlanta cast member\u00a0Phaedra Parks. Will they work together to bring down the others?<\/p>\n A long-time member of the cast of\u00a0The\u00a0Real Housewives of Orange County<\/i>, Judge is well-versed in reality TV personality machinations which could give her a leg up in assessing the competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n Another OG reality TV star, Cannatella became famous from her party girl persona on Real World: Las Vegas. <\/i>She then moved onto many seasons of The Challenge <\/i>and Road Rules.\u00a0<\/i>She did a stint as a\u00a0professional wrestler\u00a0known as “The Red Hot Redneck” and plays professional poker. Don’t underestimate that mix of skills!<\/p>\n Fans can expect to dive into another season of murder and mayhem in the Scottish highlands when\u00a0The Traitors\u00a0Season 2 premieres on Peacock on January 12.
