Colombian-born songwriter and performer, Nathalia, hosts a fun and interactive presentation of her original bilingual music.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Canby\u2019s Summer \u2018Slice\u2019:<\/strong> The 2026 Slice of Summer concert series in Canby will once again be held at the gazebo in Wait Park in downtown. The shows will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Sunday. There will be food vendors at the park and attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets. Here\u2019s who\u2019s playing: July 26 \u2013 Bridgetown Get Down (80-90s pop covers), Aug. 9 \u2013 Cherrytree Road (country\/folk), Aug. 23 \u2013 Norman Sylvester (rhythm &amp; blues). <\/p>\n<p><strong>Molalla Music Returns:<\/strong> This year\u2019s Molalla Music in the Park series will run Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fox Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for the performances. This year\u2019s entertainment will be: Trent Beaver (June 30), Opera a la Cart (July 14), Timothy James (July 21), and Keenon Tichrob (July 28).<br \/>These shows are free and open to the public<\/p>\n<p><strong>Woodburn Music:<\/strong> The annual Music in the Park series in Woodburn will run every Tuesday evening, July 7 to Aug. 11. Food and beverages open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m. This year\u2019s musical offerings are: July 7 \u2013 Castletown \u2013 Celtic &amp; Americana; July 14 \u2013 Rock n\u2019 Rewind \u2013 60\u2019s &amp; 70\u2019s Rock \u2018n Roll; July 21 \u2013 Roundhouse Band \u2013 Country &amp; Bluegrass; July 28 \u2013 Jon Deshler\u2019s Tune Tours \u2013 Jazz; Aug. 4 \u2013 The Boneheads \u2013 Classic Rock; and Aug. 11 \u2013 Big Plans \u2013 Blues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harefest Magic Is Back:<\/strong> Harefest, the \u201cMother of All Tribute Band Festivals,\u201d returns to the fairgrounds in Canby for three days of rockin\u2019 good fun July 16-18.<br \/>The year\u2019s shows will feature 24 tribute bands repping the look and sound of such bands as RUSH, AC\/DC, Bon Jovi, Boston, Fleetwood Mac and many others. For more information, or to buy tickets, go to harefest.com.<\/p>\n<p>EVENTS<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amazon Rainforest:<\/strong> Explore the sights, sounds, and smells of an Amazon Rainforest with a visit to the Canby Public Library\u2019s Willamette Room on Wednesday, July 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Amazon Basin: An Adventure for the Senses, will take visitors on a special trip. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Adult Summer Crafts:<\/strong> The Woodburn Public Library will offer adult summer crafts on Thursday, July 2, and Thursday, Aug. 6. The fun begins at 2 p.m. and those interested should call 503-982-5262 to register. The July 2 event features pressed flower luminary, while Aug. 6 will feature mosaic stepping stone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bee Amazed:<\/strong> Swarm into the wonderful world of Oregon bees (we have more than 500 different kinds) on Thursday, July 2, at 11 a.m. in Molalla\u2019s Fox Park. Discover mason bees, cuckoo bees, mining bees, longhorn bees, and, of course, honeybees. They are vital to our food supply and endlessly fascinating. Enjoy lots of hands-on science fun and buzz-worthy activities while exploring these mighty mini-beasts of nature. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Calling Teen Chefs:<\/strong> The Woodburn Public Library will help teen chefs hone their craft on Mondays, July 6 and 20, at 2 p.m. On July 6, the dish will be vegetarian sushi; July 20 will feature cake pops. Learn new cooking skills during this event. Register by calling 503-982-5262.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3D Marble Run:<\/strong> Create a 3D Marble Run in the Canby Public Library\u2019s Maker Lab on Wednesday, July 8, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. All attendees are expected to have signed a waiver (https:\/\/go.lincc.org\/maker-lab-waivers ). This event is for ages 8+.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lego Competition:<\/strong> The third annual Lego Building Competition at the Canby Public Library will be Thursday, July 9, from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Teams will consist of 2-4 players and registration is required and at least one adult (age 18+) is required per team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D&amp;D Figurine Workshop:<\/strong> Do you like D&amp;D or other TTRPGs? Come to the Teen Room at the Canby Public Library on Saturday, July 11, for a D&amp;D \/ Battle Tech Figures Workshop. The workshop runs from noon to 4 p.m. and will allow players to paint their own miniatures. Use them in future campaigns or keep them as a fun decoration. This is a drop-in program for ages 13-18.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Something For Teens:<\/strong> Teenagers will have plenty to see and do during the summer months at the Molalla Public Library. <br \/>These \u201cWild Wednesday\u201d programs will be held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. July\u2019s spice will be \u201cSeafood Boil Spices.\u201d hand-mixed from yellow and brown mustard seed, allspice, coriander, cloves, cracked bay leaf, cracked ginger, black peppercorns, chili pepper, dill seed, and caraway seed. Perfect for boiling shrimp, lobster, crab, fish, and corn. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Tabletop Gaming:<\/strong> In the mood to do some tabletop gaming? Visit the Canby Public Library on Saturday, July 18, from noon to 4 p.m. to get in on the action in the Teen Room. The gaming is for youth ages 13-18 and is a drop-in program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aurora Farmers Market:<\/strong> The Aurora Farmers Market has returned to downtown Aurora on Main and Second Street. The market runs the first and third Saturday of each month through September from 4 to 8 p.m. The market will feature local products, baked goods and crafts and more. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Molalla Farmers Market:<\/strong> Molalla\u2019s Farmers Market will run through Sept. 24 every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Molalla Brewing Company at 180 Industrial Way in Molalla. The market will feature local fruit, vegetables, plant starts, meat, wine, soaps, and much more. Food carts are also on site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>National Night Out:<\/strong> Woodburn\u2019s National Night out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, will once again see neighbors come together throughout the community to build connections, partnerships with law enforcement, and create safer neighborhoods.
