There are issues between quite a few members of the British royal family. No one seems to be on Andrew\u2019s side after his close ties to Epstein have been revealed. Prince Harry<\/a> and King Charles<\/a> are only just trying to mend their relationship. And Harry and his older brother William<\/a> seem to be very far from ever seeing eye to eye again.<\/p>\n But what does that mean for the future? Is there a scenario where the British monarchy is no longer so divided? I cannot see that happening at all. Harry reportedly wants [King] Charles to spend time with Archie and Lilibet, and he\u2019s been pushing for that. And I think that will likely happen from talking to folks in and around this.\u201d<\/p>\n Harry will be in the UK to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 event,\u00a0according to the BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cA William and Catherine meeting is incredibly unlikely,\u201d Wakeford added. \u201cThe king is the door that might open, but the Wales household is completely bolted shut right now. [William\u2019s] stance has not changed, and they would not arrange to see Harry and Meghan outside an official public engagement. And I don\u2019t even think that is going to happen. That\u2019s a much firmer line than Charles\u2019 side of the street.\u201d<\/p>\n King Charles will reportedly spend some time with his grandkids, but William is reportedly still holding on to the grudge of what Harry said in his book, Spare<\/em>. \u201cHe could perhaps have absorbed the criticism of himself, which Harry wrote in \u2018Spare,\u2019 but he cannot get over how much hurt it caused his wife,\u201d Wakeford said.<\/p>\n British royal expert Hilary Fordwich says that William is \u201clivid\u201d over Harry and Meghan\u2019s return and is very much not on the same page as his father about their place in the family.<\/p>\n \u201cPrince William\u00a0and King Charles appear to be approaching the situation from different perspectives,\u201d Kinsey Schofield, host of \u201cKinsey Schofield Unfiltered,\u201d told Fox News Digital. \u201cCharles thinks like a father and grandfather. William thinks like the future king. Charles may be willing to reopen family conversations, while William remains focused on protecting the institution and the people closest to him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFrom his perspective, the damage wasn\u2019t limited to Harry\u2019s memoir or the Netflix series. His wife was dragged into the controversy \u2026 Prince William is famously protective of Catherine, and I think many people underestimate how much resentment remains over what she endured, particularly while facing her own health challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n A source told\u00a0Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>: \u201cWilliam is known to hold a grudge, and more than that, he cannot forgive his brother for what Harry has put his family through.\u201d<\/p>\n The source made it clear there will be no full reconciliation. \u201cWilliam won\u2019t be seeing his brother. I suspect he will make sure he\u2019s miles away when Harry visits to avoid any awkward encounters,\u201d they said.
