Prince George<\/strong><\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a>‘s royally sweet outing has fans doing a double take.<\/p>\n Why? Because the mother-son duo proved to be nearly the same height during their visit to the Royal Air Force Coningsby.<\/p>\n Indeed, footage shared to Kate and Prince William<\/strong><\/a>‘s Instagram<\/a> June 27 shows the Princess of Wales standing alongside their 12-year-old, who has grown almost as tall as his 5-foot-nine-inch mom.<\/p>\n “Oh my word!” one commenter wrote. “He\u2019s so tall.”<\/p>\n While another Instagram user noted, “It feels as though it was just yesterday his parents were introducing him to the world outside of the hospital, and now he has grown remarkably tall.”<\/p>\n In addition to posing for photos, George and Kate, 44, can be seen meeting with pilots and exploring aircrafts at RAF Coningsby.<\/p>\n “Honoring Service and Sacrifice,” a caption on the royal Instagram page reads. “Marking Armed Forces Day by reflecting on time spent with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby.”<\/p>\n “A powerful reminder of the courage, skill and dedication of those who serve, past and present,” the message continued. “Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
