Courteney Cox<\/a><\/strong>and Johnny McDaid<\/a><\/strong> have reportedly turned the page on one of Hollywood’s most private long-term romances.<\/p>\n After 13 years together, the Friends star and the Snow Patrol musician have parted ways, according to a report by People magazine<\/a> on Sunday<\/a>, June 27.<\/p>\n Cox, 62, and McDaid, 49, spent more than a decade loving each other across an ocean<\/a>, dividing their time between the United States and the United Kingdom. They had a very deep relationship and they remain extremely amicable. They are great friends and care about each other very much,” the source told the Mail.<\/p>\n The same friend pointed to timing rather than conflict. “This was not an ugly split. McDaid has co-written several of Sheeran’s biggest hits, including Shape of You, Photograph, and Galway Girl.<\/p>\n According to E! News<\/a>, the couple got engaged early on, called it off in 2015, then reconciled the next year and stayed together, never returning to wedding plans.<\/p>\n On the Minnie Questions<\/a>podcast in 2024, Cox vulnerably opened up about their earlier breakup, which came during a therapy session. “I didn’t know it was coming…. We were engaged and I was so shocked.
