\n\tSome of the biggest names in pop, country and hip-hop have sassy, cuddly, playful, pointy-eared companions waiting for them at home each day, from Katy Perry to Doja Cat, Adele, Kesha and more. And then there\u2019s Taylor Swift, who\u2019s so obsessed with her felines, she\u2019s incorporated them into her music multiple times \u2014 singing \u201cguess I\u2019ll just stumble on home to my cats\u201d on \u201cGorgeous,\u201d and \u201cKarma is a cat, purring in my lap \u2019cause it loves me\u201d on \u201cKarma.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tA lot of stars also make their own social media accounts for their pets, allowing followers to nurture fandom not just for them, but for their animals, too. Justin Bieber\u2019s kitties have a following of nearly 300,000 on Instagram, for example, while Ed Sheeran\u2019s cats are close behind in numbers. <\/p>\n
\n\tAnd just like non-famous humans, many musicians have their own favorite breeds of cats. Swift is known for her love of Scottish Folds, while Bieber paid a pretty penny ($35,000!) in 2019 for a pair of spotted Bengals. Other singers are content with more common types of felines, such as Black cats and Tabbies.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2018, Adele used National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day as a chance to show off her black cat on X<\/a>. \u201cHad this joker for almost a year now,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cHe\u2019s the most beautiful cat, so glad we saved him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \n\tOne of music\u2019s biggest couples welcomed a new feline into their family when a tiny grey kitty showed up at their house in September 2024. \u201cHe was hardly alive + so sick, but with a lot of love + nurturing, he became a healthy kitten,\u201d Stefani wrote on Instagram<\/a>, sharing a video of Corn Shelton meowing on her porch and cuddling with another cat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \n\tSpears may be a well-documented fan of dogs and horses, but the pop star also has a soft spot for cats. The classic album topped the Billboard 200 for 15 weeks and won a Grammy for album of the year.<\/p>\n Photographer Jim McCrary took the famous shot of King sitting on a window ledge in her Laurel Canyon home, dressed simply in a gray sweater and blue jeans, with a cat sitting beside her.
