June 29 (UPI) —<\/span> Pride Month may end Tuesday but there are still a number of upcoming films and TV series featuring and celebrating the LGBTQ community.<\/p>\n From Heartstopper Forever<\/i> to Heated Rivalry<\/i> Season 2, here are six LGBTQ films and TV series coming to theaters and streaming services.\n<\/p>\n ‘Heartstopper Forever’<\/b><\/p>\n The young adult series Heartstopper<\/i>, based on the Alice Oseman graphic novel, will conclude with the movie Heartstopper Forever<\/i>, releasing July 17<\/a> on Netflix.<\/p>\n For three seasons, Heartstopper<\/i> followed the romance between schoolmates Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor).<\/p>\n Heartstopper Forever<\/i> will see Charlie, Nick and their friends face new challenges as they pursue college and other ventures after leaving Truham Grammar School.<\/p>\n William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell and Rhea Norwood also star.<\/p>\n ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’<\/b><\/p>\n Written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow<\/i>), Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma<\/i> brings a queer perspective to the slasher horror genre.<\/p>\n Hacks<\/i> actress Hannah Einbinder stars as Kris, an aspiring filmmaker tasked with rebooting a fictional slasher franchise. She seeks out the reclusive Billy (Gillian Anderson), the film’s original final girl, setting off a chain of “desire, fear, and delirium,” according to an official synopsis<\/a>.<\/p>\n Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma <\/i>also stars Jack Haven and Patrick Fischler, and opens in theaters Aug. 7.<\/p>\n
