I spent a lot of my childhood hiding things from my parents because I was just really afraid of their reactions,\u201d she noted. \u201cJust even small, small things. Like, I lost my virginity when I was 15 and that was something my parents probably still to this day don\u2019t even know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taylor, who came out as bisexual on the podcast, admitted she was \u201cvery terrified\u201d to tell her mom and dad intimate details about her life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven when I started to have these feelings [for women] and have these thoughts, I would have never gone to them in a million years,\u201d she added. \u201cI think that\u2019s honestly probably why for such a long time, I felt like I had to stay closeted because I just didn\u2019t have the support system around me that I wished I had as a child that I did have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taylor also recalled having a lack of sex education, adding, \u201cHonestly, that\u2019s one of the reasons why I probably got pregnant at such a young age. I got pregnant when I was 19 and I feel like it wasn\u2019t necessarily something that they avoided.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cBecause I feel like there were some moments that they would make small little comments, but they never really sat me down and never had a talk about anything. So I just figured out everything on my own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The reality star further reflected on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/mormon-wives-layla-taylor-comes-out-as-bi-is-dating-a-woman\/\">accepting her sexuality<\/a> after her divorce from <strong>Clayton Wessell<\/strong> and recent split from <strong>Mason McWhorter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would just kind of underplay it for a long period of my life,\u201d the mom of two recalled. \u201c[Now] I just feel like I\u2019m finally in the era that I\u2019m over not being truly myself and I\u2019m over not showing every part of Layla to the world.
