The release also marks the introduction of new bassist Derek Bolman to the band\u2019s lineup.<\/p>\n<p>The lineup changes were first revealed in an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.revolvermag.com\/feature\/killboy-bad-wolves-interview\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Revolver<\/a>, where Skinner discussed joining the band after previously collaborating with Bad Wolves on the 2023 track \u201cIt\u2019s You (2 Months).\u201d According to the interview, drummer John Boecklin approached Skinner as the band was considering its future following several lineup changes in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPaint It Red\u201d marks Skinner\u2019s first official release as Bad Wolves\u2019 full-time frontwoman.
