The Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em> star shares “what’s done in the darkness will come to light” in reference to his mom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Kate and Collin have been estranged for over a decade as he’s lived with his dad Jon Gosselin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Collin Gosselin<\/a> is sending a message to his estranged mom Kate Gosselin<\/a> amid news she’s allegedly upset about his upcoming memoir.<\/p>\n Collin, 22, is one of Kate and ex Jon Gosselin<\/a>‘s sextuplets, whose upbringing aired on TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em><\/a> and then Kate Plus 8 <\/em>from 2007 to 2017. (The exes, who divorced in 2009, also share Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah, and Joel, as well as twins, Mady and Cara.)<\/p>\n According to Collin, his book, titled In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood<\/em>, will detail “the hardest moments” of his life that weren’t shown on screen. Shortly after he announced the memoir, reports claimed Kate was “spiraling” over what her son would share.<\/p>\n On his Instagram Stories Saturday, Collin reshared a story from the celebrity.land<\/em><\/a>, whose headline read, “Kate Gosselin ‘spiraling’ ahead of estranged son Collin’s bombshell memoir: ‘She knows it’s about to hit the fan.'”<\/p>\n In his repost, Collin blurred out his mom’s face and shared a comment from a follower that read, “What’s done in darkness will always come to light.”<\/p>\n Collin has reportedly not had a relationship with Kate since around 2016, when she enrolled him in a program<\/a> away from home to address his “special needs.”<\/p>\n “[There\u2019s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we\u2019ve had for a very long time, and it\u2019s one I\u2019ve dealt with on my own,” she told PEOPLE<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n “I\u2019ve felt very alone in this,” Kate added. “By the same token, it\u2019s not something that has only impacted me or him \u2014 our entire family has been impacted.”<\/p>\n
